In yet another addition to the chain of complaints against the Isha Foundation, an IT graduate from Coimbatore, whose parents alleged that she wanted to become a Sanyasin and stay at Isha Foundation, had petitioned the Commissioner of Police (COP) A. Amalraj, to take action against those who are instigating them.

Claiming that her parents had been brainwashed by some persons with a bad motive, Aparna had also alleged that her family had been used as a bait to defame Isha Foundation.

“My parents are old and can be easily deceived. Some men have given them a script to read in front of the media persons, and that has made my life miserable,” she added.

She further said that ever since the false news of her becoming a Sanyasin had spread in the media, her future had become a question mark.

“I’m not able to go to my office since all my colleagues are asking me about the incident. I think that the persons involved – Siva from Theni and Kamaraj, the father of Geetha and Katha – are following,” she alleged, requesting the COP to take immediate actions against them.
