City-based Clove Digital today launched a GPS device ‘g-Tag’ that would help track a child’s movement.
Giving details about their product, Clove Digital founder Anurag Renjith told reporters that the GPS schoolchild locator could be tagged to the child’s bag with GSM SIM choice with no subscription charges.
“It comes in strong ABS+ polycarbonate design with locking facilities. It will provide details about the child’s movements including the location. gTag is a hardware device with an android app that gives continuous updates to the parents,” he said.
Parents could mark up to six places in the regular route taken by the child. “They will be provided with information when the child reaches or leaves the place, whether it is market or school.”
In case of emergency parents could choose to see real time location of the child on map view using gTag android app.
Priced at Rs. 6490, gTag consumes 50 MB data (either post paid or prepaid) per month, it could be purchased through amazon.in or www.clovedigital.com.
“Though we are thinking of tying up with schools, we prefer selling it directly to parents,” Anurag added.
