NEET 2017: KEA Karnataka releases second round of seat allotment schedule at kea.kar.nic.in

The seat matrix for the second allotment will be displayed on August 17 after 4 pm on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the second round seat allotment schedule for the admission to medical courses on the official website, the link for which is kea.kar.nic.in

The admission to Medical and Dental undergraduate courses in Karnataka is done on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 results.

How to check second round seat allotment schedule:

Go to the official website, kea.kar.nic.in
Click on ‘NEET-2017 Second round seat allotment Schedule (Medical and Dental Courses)’
All the details will be displayed on the screen
Download the PDF for future use.

Important dates:

Display of seat matrix for the second allotment: August 17 after 4 pm
Change of options: From August 17 to August 19
Allotment results: August 21
Payment of fee: August 22 to August 23
Last date of reporting to colleges: August 24 before 5:30 pm.

Important notes:

As reported in official notification, the seat allotted to the candidate in the first round will be considered as last option in the second round. If any of the better Options are not allotted, then the seat allotted to them in the second round will remain with the candidate

The candidates who have obtained a seat from KEA and have later on joined in their state/other college or courses, candidates may please note that such of those who have got the Admission Order from KEA and do not join the allotted college or leave the college after joining — such actions are tantamount to seat blocking and will result in loss of subsidised Government Quota seats to the Private Management. (There are other equally eligible meritorious candidates in the merit queue)

According to KEA, such candidates should surrender their allotted seat to KEA only, and such seat will be offered to other equally eligible meritorious candidates in the Second Round.
