15 passengers injured as bus collides

At least 15 persons were injured, when a Palakkad-bound bus collided on a lorry, while attempting to overtake it on Tirupur-Avanashi bypass today.
The Government bus coming from Chennai attempted to over-take the lorry at Pazhakkarai, but hit against it, resulting in injuries to 15 persons, police said.
All the injured were admitted to the Government hospital at Avanashi in Tirupur district, they said.
