19-year-old killed in road accident

A 19-year-old boy succumbed to injuries here after the two-wheeler in which he was travelling was hit by a lorry on Monday.
According to sources, Sunil Kumar (19) from Uttar Pradesh was reportedly riding on a two-wheeler with his friend Harinath (29) near Saravanampatti. His two-wheeler was hit by a rashly-driven tempo.
The rider and the pillion sustained head injuries and were admitted to VG Hospital. Injured Sunil Kumar died while being treated. The police have registered a case against the rider of the tempo Murugan (30) who caused the accident.
