3 ganja peddlers arrested, 2.5 kg ganja seized

Coimbatore : Three persons were arrested Friday and 2,5 kg of ganja was seized from them in Mettupalayam and nearby areas in the district.
Based on information that ganja was being sold in the area, four special police teams were formed to nab the peddlers, police said.
The search was on for the last two days in Mettupalayam, Sirumugal, Karamadai and Kallar areas and two teams managed to nab three persons– Kittan, Selvam and Murthy, they said.
Police said they seized seized 2.5 kg ganja from their possession. The three were remanded for 15 days, they said.
