Over 300 teams from 126 Universities and Colleges are participating in the 24th Karunya Evangeline Memorial Tournament (South India Level), which began here today. The four-day event was inauguratred by the City Police Commissioner, A. Amalraj in the presence of Karunya University Chancellor, Paul Dhinakaran.

HOCKEY: CTN CAS, Dindigul bt Arul Anandar College, Karumathur 6-5; Jammal Mohamed Colelge, Tiruchi bt Park College of Tech, Coimbatore 3-0; Zamorins Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode bt Adhiyaman College of Engg, Hosur 3-0.

FOOTBALL: St. Joseph College, Devagiri, bt Sri Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore 2-0.
