700 kids participate in “Pedal for a Cause”. event held at Coimbatore

Coimbatore : A total of 700 kids today participated in Kutti Roadies cycling event “pedal for a cause” here.

The kids were taught how to follow all the Traffic signals and signs at the event conducted by Coimbatore United Round Table (186) at Codissia grounds.

The children gathered at the grounds and cycled with their friends in the event featuring 500 meter, 1 km and 5 km categories.

The chief guest Pradeep Rajappa (Area 7 Vice Chairman), detailed on why roadsafety is very important and also advised the kids to follow traffic discipline.

The focus was on giving the kids an fun experience to ride in a group and the main highlight of this event was to educate kids on road safety and follow traffic rules and regulations.

All the Participants were given a Helmet, T shirts and a goodie bag, even as various traffic lights, zebra crossings and traffic signs were installed on the track.
