Kozhikode: The abduction victim and South Indian actor has expressed shock and distress over the remarks of P C George, MLA, against her.
In a letter sent to the Chief Minister, she flayed George by mentioning his name and expressed her concern over the fate of the case pending before the court.
In the letter she says she would like to know what George wanted her to do after undergoing the trauma of abduction and abuse. She said that only her mother and brother knew how tough it was to endure the aftermath of the abduction and abuse.
She asks whether George wants her to end her life or slip into depression and become a mental wreck rotting in a mental asylum or hide from the social media.
She said she would be pleased to get a reply from George as to what her mistake was.
The recent outburst by George against the Women’s Commission and that he would chop off the nose and other organs of those working against him was outrageous, she said. She wondered how a people’s representative could speak in such a derogatory manner against the organisation on which thousands of helpless women depended to redress their problems.
The copy of the letter was published through the Facebook post by female actors’ outfit Women in Cinema Collective (WCC).
The actor was abducted and abused by accused Pulsar Suni on February 17. Following this a number of the accused were arrested, including actor Dileep on charges of giving quotation to execute the crime.
In a retort, George has said he was undeterred by the letter.
At a press meet in Kottayam, he said he wanted to know if the Chief Minister would be arrested in case prime accused Pulsar Suni had named him. George added he was firm on his remarks and stuck to his remarks.
