Instead of giving partial amounts, the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) has demanded that the banks provide 100 percent education loans to students. Also, AIYF has asked that the education loans be extended to students pursuing courses in arts and science.

Lauding the efforts of self-motivated and service-minded individuals for their efforts to rescue and help those who were caught in the recent Chennai floods, the AIYF Tamil Nadu secretary V. Balamurugan accused the government of not taking the relief measures seriously.

About the notorious ‘beep song,’ Balamurugan said that both Simbu and Anirudh should be arrested for denigrating women.
