August 31 local holiday for government offices for Onam

Coimbatore : The district collector, K Rajamani declared August 31 as a local holiday for celebrations of Onam festival.
All the government offices will be closed on that day and to compensate September 12 Saturday will be a working day.
He also asked the people to celebrate the festival, by maintaining social distancing and adequate protection, considering the coronavirus infection
