BACAS introduces certificate courses from this academic year onwards

CSI Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science (BACAS) has launched certificate courses in Tally ERP 9, communicative English, baking and confectionary, and merchandising from the 2016-17 academic year onwards. The college currently offers 10 Undergraduate and five Post-Graduate courses.

Addressing the media today, Dr. Jemimah Winston, Principal, BACAS said, “These courses are affiliated to the Bharathiar University. Those who have passed high school can enrol for these certificate courses.” She added that the duration of each course is six months long, and certificates will be issued upon successfully completion of the course.

There is no age limit to enrol for these four courses. Each of them will have a mix of theory and practical sessions. About 75 experienced faculty will train the students. BACAS will enrol a maximum of 60 students for each course.

Under the leadership of Rt. Rev Timothy Ravinder, Chairman and Bishop of Coimbatore, CSI BACAS is aiming to reach greater heights by catering to the needs of the students and offering them job-oriented courses.
