Banned currency notes seized in Ernakulam

Kottayam: Police unearthed Rs 2.3 crore banned currency notes at Panangad in Ernakulam district. Five persons were detained in this connection.
The currency notes of the denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 were seized. Those detained include natives of Thrissur, Muvattupuzha, Irinjalakuda and Kozhikode.
