Bharathiar University has announced that the UG and PG 2016 examinations for private candidates will commence from the first and second week of November 2016 respectively.

The practical examinations for the UG and PG courses will commence during the first and fourth week of October respectively. Candidates who have to attend the examinations may contact the concerned college principals in advance for the exact date and session of practical examinations.

The last dates for receipt of filled in applications for November 2016 examinations, with necessary fee, in the office of the Controller of Examinations, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, from the private candidates are September 14 (without fine), and September 23 (with fine of Rs.10 per day), a varsity release said today.

Applications received after these dates, and incomplete applications will be rejected.

The candidates belonging to the batches 1982-83 to 2006-2007 are also permitted to write their arrears in equivalent papers of the syllabus applicable for the year 2007-2008 batch, by applying for re- registration of their respective courses.
