Bike rally to create awareness for ‘Rally For Rivers’ held

As part of creating awareness on reviving rivers, titled ‘Rally for Rivers’, about 300 villagers today conducted a bike rally, in which more than 150 motorcycles participated covering nearly 20 kms.

The rally reached out to 25 villages surrounding Isha Yoga center covering about 20 Km including Narasipuram, Santhegoundanpalayam, Devarayapuram, and Thondamuthur.

Riders from an age group of 18 to 70 years participated in this rally, which started from Narasipuram bus stand.

A similar rally will be held on August 26, which will cover other stretch of villages including Irrutupallam, Semmedu and Alandurai.

These bikers will also participate on the Rally for Rivers flag off event organised by Isha on September three in the city.

Rally For Rivers is a campaign launched by the Foundation to save the Life lines of this country and in this nationwide campaign, the founder Sadhguru himself will drive about 7,000 km covering 16 states to create awareness about saving of rivers.
