Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, today expressed hope that ace shooter Abhinava Bindra will utilise his expertise to create more future Olympians in India.

Replying to a specific question on Bindra’s retirement announcement, Rathore told reporters that he was a tremendous and experienced player. “I Hope Bindra’s experience will benefit young and create lot of Abhinav Bindras in the country,” Rathore, who himself was a shooter and won silver medal in Men’s Trap in Athens Summer Olympics in 2004, said.

When asked about the delegation to Jammu and Kashmir, Rathore, who was in Coimbatore to participate in the Village Festival organised by Isha Foundation, said that the Government had made it clear that it was open to talk to everyone.
