A video is viral in social media where consent for sex is explained with tea. The Thames Valley Police in the United Kingdom is uses an animated video to explain consent for sex is important and they have used tea, the most common and popular thing amongst Britons, to explain it.

Thames Valley Police has given the video courtesy to RockStarDinosaurPiratePrincess.com and Blue Seat Studios. The latter has made this animation video titled ‘CONSENT It’s simple as tea’. Blue Seat Studios has made similar ‘Consent videos’, educating viewers with animated videos.

The video starts with saying: “If you are still struggling with consent, just imagine instead of initiating sex, you are making them a cup of tea.” The video then continues to explain ‘Consent’ through various scenarios of making tea to your guest. It concludes by giving the message ‘Consent is everything’. The video has already received 60,268,972 views on Facebook. The studios has also made similar educational animation videos about ‘Protecting yourself from Rape’ and also about ‘Consent for kids’.
