Ten supporters of sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dinakran, including a former MLA, were arrested today for allegedly distributing pamphlets against Tamil Nadu Government and Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy in nearby Salem, even as cases was registered against Dinakaran and two former MLAs
Former legislator Venkatachalam and local party secretary Saravanan were among those arrested, based in a complaint by one Vinayakam that these persons were found distributing pamphelts to the public outside a hall where Palanisamy was holding a meeting with senior officials yesterday.
The pamphlets reportedly contained some unwanted remarks against the Chief Minister and also Prime Minister Narendra Modi, police sources said.Later, the names of Dinakaran and two former MLAs, Pugalendi and Vettivel, were also included in the case, they said.
