Centre announces subsidy to farmers

Central Government has announced subsidies under the Project of National Sustainable Agriculture to farmers doing natural agriculture at Thondamuthoor near Coimbatore.
Mathambatti village has been selected for taking up natural agriculture in Coimbatore district.
Farmers can get subsidy of 50 per cent for sun hemp seeds, and fertilizers for crops. They can register till the end of December at the Regional Agricultural Extension Centre, Thondamuthoor. Contact No. 0422-2617414.
