The Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Regional Volleyball Tournament for the year 2024, organized every year under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate was conducted from 23rd to 25th July, 2024.

This spectacular event was hosted by St. Jude’s Public School and Junior
College in their magnificent Games arena at Westbrooke Campus,Kotagiri.
Major Muthu Kumar,of the Madras Regimental Centre,Wellington, was the
Chief Guest on the inaugural day.
71 teams from 26 schools of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry region competed in
the three- day sports extravaganza which witnessed 900 participants vying with one another.

Around 140 matches under three divisions, Sub-Junior,Junior and Senior
boys and girls were successfully conducted in 5 courts of the West Brooke Campus showcasing the remarkable skills of the players.The Chief Guest on the final day Honourable A Abdul Kadhar, Principal District and Sessions Judge witnessed the finals and gave away the prizes.The Chief Guest was felicitated by the Principal, Dr. Saro Dhanarajan after which the events commenced.

Jaganathan,District Volleyball Secretary and the Chairman of State Volleyball Association,Rajadurai, National Volleyball player and Muthukumaran, University Volleyball player were present as spotters who selected the players from the different schools to represent Tamilnadu & Pondicherry region
in the National Volleyball Tournament which is scheduled on 16th to 21st September, 2024 at St. Jude’s Public School & Junior College, Kotagiri.
