The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore, today, extended invitation to Olympic badminton silver medalist, PV Sindhu, to visit the chamber for a felicitation arranged in her honour.

In a letter to Sindhu, chamber president, D. Nandakumar congratulated Sindhu for her extraordinary performance at the Rio Olympics. “We offer our hearty felicitations to you for your fabulous achievement in winning the silver medal in badminton. You won million hearts,” he said.

“Your hard work, determination and dedication only have enabled you to scale such heights. Your achievement has done the nation proud by winning the medal and it is a great source of inspiration for all the sports persons. You are great role model for women,” Nandakumar said in the letter, and cordially invited Sindhu to visit the chamber for a felicitation function in her honour, and sought a convenient date for the event.
