Coimbatore district collector T N Hariharan has suggested steps to provide clean drinking water to corporation wards and village areas at a meeting in his office.

He underlined the need to make available safe drinking water especially in view of the rainy season.
He also said this will act as a precautionary measure to prevent dengue fever.

Additionally, fogging must be carried out at railway stations, and areas crowded with bus stands and cinema theatres to ensure safety, he said.
