College student from Kerala killed in road accident

A 22-year-old student of a city engineering college was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a flyover’s parapet wall near Ukkadam. His classmate sustained serious injuries.
The deceased, Melson Johnson, was from Thrissur, Kerala, and was heading to the railway station along with his friend, Gokul. He lost control of the motorbike and hit the wall. Johnson died on the way to the hospital. Gokul is under treatment at a private hospital.
