The Staff and Students of Sree Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore celebrated the Onam Festival in a grand manner more than the Kerala peoples on 13.09.2024.

Dr.D.Kalpana, Principal, delivered the welcome address.P.A.Rajkumar, Secretary of Sree Narayana Guru Educational Trust, presided over the programme Chief Guest, A.K Janardhanan, General Secretary, Kairali Cultural Academy addressed the students “Onam is a unique festival and it displays the rich culture and history of the state of Kerala”.

“Onam message to the students that our lives should be filled with happiness, prosperity and success” said the Chief Guest. P.V.Sajiesh Kumar, Treasurer of Sree Narayana Guru Educational Trust felicitated the gathering. The students of Sree Narayana Guru College celebrated the Onam Festival with Aththapookalam, Thiruvathira Dance, Shingari Melam, Thambolam, Pookkavadi, Onam Sadya, Vadamvali and cultural events.

Dr.D.Kalpana, Principal, distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions. Mr.Albin Biju, Students’ Fine Arts Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
