The drinking water connection to three properties was disconnected on Monday after the owners of the properties were reportedly found to be not paying property tax.

According to a release from the city Municipal Corporation, Subramaniam, owner of one of the properties at Chinnasamy Layout in Masakalipalayam, had not paid the pending amount of Rs. 46,682 as property tax to the corporation.

Thirmal Vendhan from Asbestos Street in Konavaikal Palayam had also not paid property tax of Rs. 53,790 and the owner of Universal Machine Works also had a pending amount of Rs. 8,386 and Rs. 10,721 of property tax.
