The Branch MSME Development Institute (DI) in Coimbatore, functioning under Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, invites aspiring entrepreneurs and management students in Coimbatore to enrol their names for training course on ‘Business Planning and Implementation for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs’.

In a release, Deputy Director (In-charge) Branch MSME DI, K. Jayachandiran, said: “Business planning is critical in the achievement of business objectives and hitting targets. The course provides thorough subjects on how to create, measure and implement business plan. Participants can learn the key strategies, planning and budgetary issues for implementing a success business plan. The training session also comprises theory and practical sessions on business plan skills, business forecasting and business plan proposal writing.”

According to him, the programme is planned with targeting budding entrepreneurs and for those at transition level. He noted that the course is also useful for management students, who are planning to set up their own ventures. The programme would cover various topics on entrepreneurship, project selection strategy, transition and evaluation, formulating business plan, forecasting, financing for start-up business and case studies.

He also called upon unemployed youth to enrol for the course for exploring opportunities for self employment. The training would be conducted from August 17 to 21.
