Coimbatore : There will be change of governments both at the Centre and Tamil Nadu after May 23, the day of the results of Lok Sabha electioins, CPIM State unit secretary, K Balakrishnan said Tuesday.

With BJP going to lose in the elections nationwide, a new government will be in place after May 23 and the incumbent Edapadi K Palanisamy’s government will follow suit, as AIADMK would lose all the 22 seats, where by-elections are to be held in the State, Balakrishnan said.

Speaking at the last day of campaigning for the party candidate P R Natarajan here, he said the State will witness a new government led by DMK president, M K Stalin.

Party Politburo member, G Ramakrishnan said that an anti-Modi wave was sweeping across the country and this will result in Secular Progressive Alliance led by DMK sweeping all the 39 seats in Tamil Nadu and one in Puducherry,

This will have an impact on the State government, he said.
