Kochi: Union Minister Arun Jaitley who was in Kerala on Sunday said that CPM was eliminating those who opposed it’s ideology.

Speaking at the memorial meeting organised to pay homage to slain RSS activist Rajesh at Sreekaryam in Thiruvananthapuram, he said that it was unfortunate that instead of focusing on taking the State through the path of development, the CPM was busy settling scores with political opponents.

The only mistake committed by Rajesh was that he was a firm believer of RSS ideology. He had not attacked anyone. Such a person was hacked 82 times. Such heinous crime could be seen only in cinemas or read in books. Even the enemies of the country would not do such things, he observed.

Jaitley said the State despite having huge potential was not able to generate jobs forcing the youth to migrate to other countries in search of jobs. The government has failed to cash in the opportunity.

Rajesh was hacked to death allegedly by CPM workers in a public place a few days back. Prior to this there were number of clashes between BJP and CPM in different places in the state.

Chief Minister and DGP were summoned by Governor to discuss law and order situation in the State.
