CVC to organise traffic awareness programmes in educational institutions

The Citizens Voice Club (CVC) would organise traffic awareness programmes in all schools and colleges across the city.

According to a press release from the CVC, it would be followed by an Awareness Implementation Programme after three months.

The CVC, along with Regional Transport Office (Central) jointly conducted a an awareness programme – My Accident Free City – at Vivekalaya School, Trichy Road here on Thursday.

Regional Transport Officer S. Udayakumar and Motor Vehicle Inspector Afsal Khan made a visual presentation on the causes of the accidents and how to follow traffic rules, to the students, parents and staff of the school.

CVC President C.M. Jeyaraman held an interaction with the students on the traffic rules and regulations to be followed. A. Karuppiah, Treasurer, CVC and Dr. K.Hariharan participated.
