Coimbatore : With thre present Rs.55,000 crore business, DBS Bank India Limited is expected to cross triple the amount by another five years, a top official said Wednesday.
The Bank opening more branches and touch points and with 2.5 million customer base, the balance sheet will cross 1.65 lakh crore in the next five years, Bank CEO Surojit Shome told reporters here.
The bank intended to establish over 100 customer touch points — a combination of branches and kiosks across 25 cities in the next 18 months, he said.
Shome, here to inaugurate a new branch, the fourth in Tamil Nadu, said that the bank, which is present in 12 cities, will open 12 more branches, including five in rural areas, by March end.
By opening more branches, it will be a significant milestone for DBS India to enabled to deepen and embed the commitment to growing our franchise in India, Shome said.
