Women in Coimbatore need not worry about their designer blouses henceforth. City-based Anya Boutique has come out with a unique concept to help women choose the pattern and design of their choice at the click of a mouse.

“Starting from measurements to opting for the neck line and embroidery, all this can be done in easy steps through the software that has been created in our official website,” says D. Ashok, in-house technical head, Anya Boutique.

The software ‘Design Your Own Blouse’, created by Ashok, would be ready in another couple of days. The owners are currently working on methodology to educate women on how to use this online software. “If everything all falls in place ‘Design Your Own Blouse’ would be made available to customers next month,” he adds.

The pilot phase of the project has successfully been carried out. “Currently, customers can try their hands in the software by visiting our boutique in Gandhipuram,” Ashok says.

“Once the software goes live, all it will take is just three simple steps to have a blouse created. The customer has to log on to the boutique’s official website and visit the ‘Design Your Own Blouse’ software section. The customer has to key in the measurements. In the second step, the customer will be required to opt for the front and back neck design from the close to 10 available patterns. A sample of the neck designs along with the respective names will be displayed. Customer can choose an individual neck pattern for the front and back respectively.

Then the customer has to opt for the length of the sleeves. And finally, if the customer requires her blouse to be embroidered, a request for the kind of embroidery work that is required can also be entered through this software.

The customer should enter her name, address and contact number, a technical team from the boutique will verify the order and the same will be passed on to the in-house tailoring experts. The materiel will be picked up from the customer’s door step, the order will be processed as per the customer’s requirement and delivered at home,” Ashok adds.

According to him the payment could be made at the time of delivery.
