He believes that it’s his ethical duty to create awareness about the societal and health issues people face due to technological advancements and help them combat the same. As and when the world is rapidly pacing towards advanced levels of digitalisation, and the magnitude at which the people are making it a part of their lives on regular basis is immeasurably high. It also becomes equally important to have a control on the usage of this equipment of at most power – Technology.

Technology is invented to make humankind’s life easier and more convenient and it does rightfully help the purpose but it also is adversely affecting human’s mental health and overall health as well. 

The programme ignited with the introduction of our todays guest started to explain about the digital habits and balancing it when we are utilising. He stated the details about the description of the habits from its root. Knowing or unknowing, consciously or unconsciously when you are repeating a task that becomes as habits.

He suggested a book named Atomic Habits (Author James clear) that shall be read by the students, which help them to understand about the adaptation of the habits. He also illustrated the details about the Digital Native (the current generation Gen Z) and the Digital immigrant (who did not have any idea of digital technologies in their young age and now customising in this system).

He cautioned about the physical impact of digital over use that brings suffocation in our routine life. Those are Eye Strain, Poor Sleep, Mental health issue, Physical Health issues, Posture Problems. He also shares the details concise Still Eye Effect (Child sense the communication and if the child feels unnoticed and it cry because it senses the disconnection). It is the evidence that how we disconnected from the reality.

We have very low numbers of role model, when the elders have to teach in spite of, they focus on the digital technologies. This curtails the benefit relevant with physical and psychological of the next generation. We need a shift to overcome the digital habit addictions.
