A doctor in Maharashtra has confessed to killing six people in the past few years.
Maharashtra police recovered six bodies which includes those of five women and one man from the Satara district farmhouse of Santosh Pol aka Dr Death.
Preliminary investigations revealed that some of the victims had been missing since 2003.
The police put a stop to the 41-year-old doctor’s alleged serial killing after the murder of his latest victim, Mangal Jedhe. The police traced Jedhe’s last phone call to Santosh and arrested him on August 11.
He confessed that he killed them by administering lethal overdose of drugs. The police also arrested his associate nurse Jyoti Mandre who claimed that Santosh kidnapped and murdered Jedhe.
The police are suspecting that he might be involved in an organ transplant racket.
