Dr. NGP Educational Institutions through the Student Development Committee organized a Capacity Building Event at Dr NGP Arts and Science College campus on September 18, 2024. Dr. V. Irai Anbu I.A.S. (Retd.), Former Chief Secretary, Govt. of Tamil Nadu was the Chief Guest.

Miss. Anushree, the Vice President of Student Development Committee of NGP iTECH, delivered the welcome address. In a ceremonial gesture, Dr. Dr.Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of the Dr NGP Educational Institutions in her address, spoke about the importance of values of self-discipline, punctuality, and hard work and encouraged students to emulate
Dr. Irayanbu’s example by dedicating themselves to continuous learning and personal development.

Dr. P. Ra. Muthusamy, Director of the Dr NGP Educational Institutions, highlighted the impact of the 167 books written by the speaker on various topics such as philosophy, humanity, and psychology.

Dr. Irayanbu spoke on the topic “Aatralai Thedi”. He discussed about his books such as “Vaykkal Meenngal,” which reflects on the theme of youthful affection and “Moolaiyakkul Sutrula” (Travel in the Brain), which emphasizes the importance of effectively utilizing one’s brain to enhance personal power.

Speaking about the various stages of life, he stressed the importance of basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, respect, and self-esteem. He encouraged the students to embrace and fully utilize their potential to achieve success.

He spoke about the importance of Tamil language and how it bonds us particularly when we are abroad. He said even talented individuals like Girish Karnad and Beethoven, faced challenges despite their potential and encountered failures. He concluded his lecture by outlining ten strategies for enhancing one’s energy to achieve success:
