Driver of Kalignar Engineering college arrested for uploading child pornography in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, Jan 5 : In its intensified drive against child pornography, police Sunday arrested a driver of Kalaignar engineering college near here for his involvement in viewing and uploading such videos on mobile phones.
Cyber crime police came to know that 25-year old Sathyamurthy,vworking in a private engineering college and staying in Sulur on the outskirts, was viewing and uploading such videos to other mobile phones.
Based on the information, Sulur police arrested Sathyamoorthy and found porno videos in his cell phone, remanded and lodged in the Central
jail, police said.
A man haling from Assam and working in a tiles shop near Pollachi in the district was arrested on Saturday for watching and uploading the videos
to his friends and also in social media like Facebook.
Superintendent of Police, Sujit Kumar has issued stern warning to those indulging in such illegal and inhuman activities.
