Coimbatore : Yugam 2020, the 8th edition of the week long techno-cultural sports fest will begin here from February 29.

With a multitude of events and programmes ranging from Tech Conclave and Inspire India Youth Conclave to Socio Constants and Proshows, the 8-day Yugam 2020 is all set to draw a footfall of over 20,000 participants from more than 1,000 colleges across the country, making it one of the biggest South Indian Techno-cultural Sports fiesta organised entirely by students of Kumaraguru Institutions.

This edition revolves around the theme “Infinity” that signifies “Perpetual Persistence”, Dr Vigilesh, Head, Office of Student Affairs, told presspersons here Friday.

Tech Conclave 2020 is a synergy of ideas, designs, and demonstrations towards innovation, and an an avenue to mould participants’ convictions through the hackathon, paper presentation, and a coding competition, he said.

The Inspire India YouthCon is a stage for the established icons to share experiences and inspiring insights in their voyage to success, to inspire, motivate and drive the aspiring spirits of the youth to achieve greater heights for a better India.

IIYC creates a space where change makers and disruptors of today share their stories, ideas, challenges as well as potential approaches and necessary mindsets to effect social change. The objective is to showcase
the dynamism of the youth today and to be inspired and aspire for a new and smart India, Vigilesh said.

There will be a trade fair “angadi” organized and coordinated by the students of KCT Business School plays a prominent role in enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit in students by exhibiting their managerial skills, he said.
