The women – Shikha Bagaria, Kanika Khanna and Prema Goenka – are to host the third edition of The Gourmet Bazaar on August 25 and 26.

Coimbatore’s only gourmet food event is to be held at Whispering Stones near Perks School.

Makers of artisanal cheese, gourmet and fine foods, home bakers and caterers, organic growers, chocolatiers and specialty cafeterias have been invited to the event.

According to a statement from the hosts, this edition will have a theme ‘Wellness Special’ and those in the area of natural personal care products, organic produce, health foods, alternative healing and cooking, wellness techniques and products, medicinal herbs, plants and flowers, traditional, vegan and low carb cooking can also participate.

The Gourmet Bazaar is a first-of-its-kind food-based exhibition encompassing all types of specialty and fine foods with a focus on handmade and home-made products, or foods produced in limited quantities by specialty cafeterias and small businesses, organically/ consciously grown and produced foods and related products.

In addition to food, there would be a select range of curios, trinkets and jewellery with an emphasis on the homemade, quirky, artistic or ‘limited product’ factor.
