Investigation team brings Madhan to Tirupur

As part of the medical seat scam investigation, Tamil film producer and accused Madhan was brought to nearby Tirupur, from where he was arrested a week ago after being at large for six months.
A team of 12 police personnel from Chennai took Madhan to Tirupur this afternoon and inspected the house where he was reportedly staying and from where he was arrested, police said. They inspected the locality and conducted enquiries with some neighbours to establish the fact that the accused had stayed there.
The team returned to Chennai after one hour in Tirupur, police said.
The Vendhar Movies producer was wanted in connection with the alleged multi-crore MBBS admission scam in SRM Medical College and was absconding since May 29, and was arrested last week.
