With Agribusiness emerging as a specialized branch of knowledge in the field of management sciences in India, a one-day Management Development Programme for agripreneurs program was organised at Tamil Nadu
Agricultural University.
There is a positive trend from the investors to venture into food and agri business because of the production capabilities and large market size, the experts
in the field said.
There was no doubt that agricultural start-ups have one of the biggest potential in India as it is a multiple operation enterprise and hence that makes it a complex system for start-ups to target. It was impressed upon the importance to impart knowledge to start-up Agripreneurs on viable business models and how to reach and evaluate their market.
Around 30 start-up entrepreneurs who have ventured into Food and Agribusiness were trained on successful
and viable business models and market analysis by experts.
Dr. Jabir Ali, Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in the center for Food and Agri Business Management trained the participants on how to analyze the market, the release said.
