National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) will conduct its 34th annual national conference NATCON – 2015 in Coimbatore on human resources development, here on Thursday. Briefing reporters here, P. Gandhimathinathan, the Convener of the Conference, said that the event was aimed at encouraging innovative HRs in the business fraternity.

“This is the 34th NIPM national conference and the first in Coimbatore. The conference would be attended by HR heads, senior managers and business leaders from several business sectors from India and abroad,” he said.

He further stated that the conference was also aimed at brainstorming the industries’ best practices and innovative applications to produce good results in the industry.

P. Muthuvelappan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said that the conference would also be attended by resource persons, including Jairam Varadaraj, the Managing Director of Elgi Equipments; Lakshmi Narayanan, the Vice Chairman of Cognizant Technology Solutions; K. Ramkumar, the Executive Director of ICICI Banks Limited, and Shombit Sengupta, the founder of Shining Consulting.

“The speakers would give enough inputs to young and aspiring HRs to excel in the field and thereby contribute to the industry,” he added.
