Police are on the lookout for a soldier, who has reportedly misbehaved with a girl, who was travelling by Kerala Express to Thiruvananthapuram from Delhi. He was allegedly under the influence of liquor.

The soldier was in the same reserved compartment where the girl was also travelling. According to the police, he had teased her and tried to make sexual advances during the night hours.

The girl immediately alerted the Thiruvananthapuram Railway police, who in turn sounded their counterparts at Erode and Coimbatore stations.

The search by the city police and Railway Police in the early hours went futile as the soldier, having learnt that a complaint had been filed against him, went missing from the compartment.

However, police are on the lookout for him, based on the reservation details.
