A 14-year-old boy who had downloaded the deadly Blue Whale game on his phone and was all set to start was rescued by police in Annur on Saturday.

The boy, a tenth grader, who was too curious about the game had dowloaded it on his phone. Noticing it on his phone, his parents immediately alerted the police. The cops rushed to his house, counselled the boy and deleted the game. They also managed to convince him on the ill effects of playing the deadly game.
