Raid on photography firm

Coimbatore : IT department officials Friday carried out raids on a photography firm in the city following information that a large sum of unaccounted money was stashed there.
    
According to police sources, the officials, accompanied by election department officials, started searching the office of Zero Gravity Photography, a private firm, with four branches including Chennai, to remove the possible cash from 11 AM,
   
The search concluded around 5 PM and there was no official information after the raids, police said.
     
Meanwhile, the owner Ajay claimed that  the raid was to defame the organisation, reportedly after receiving false information given by two employees, who were sacked on disciplinary grounds

Due to day-long search, the business was affected and the officials had not taken any documents or cash from the office, he said.
