Rallies to highlight achievements of 3-year rule of Modi’s government

Tamil Nadu BJP has drawn up rallies to celebrate the completion of three years of the Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from May 26 across the State, party president, Tamilisai Soundarajan said today.

The major achievements of the government will be highlighted during the rallies, in which top National and State leaders of the party and Central ministers will participate, Tamilisai told reporters here.

With protests against liquor shops increasing across the State, the party has decided to take out procession, with large number of women, to St.Fort, the seat of power in Chennai on June 16, she said.

On Rajinikanth’s proposed entry to politics, Tamilisai said that the actor was respecting the ideology of the party.

The factional feud in AIADMK should not not delay the civil body elections, and it should be conducted at the earliest, she said.

She accused DMK MP, Kanimozhi of spreading wrong information about NEET. Actually, the students of Tamil Nadu will gain, as the Government has increased the reservations from 50 to 80 per cent, she said.

To a question on Karthi Chidambaram fleeing to London after the raids, she said that it was for the Congress and Chidambaram to explain about this.
