Residents of Ganapathy oppose to new TASMAC outlet in the locality

The Ladies Association of CMS Nagar filed a petition to the District Collector of Coimbatore today, to stop the construction of new TASMAC premises in Sri Lakshmi Nagar, Ganapathy.

Merlin Suresh,Treasurer of the Ladies Association told the Covai Post that the upcoming TASMAC building is located near the CMS Matriculation school and all the children will have to cross this premises to reach the school

Vimala Haridas, the President of the Association rued that the construction of this building is taking place during night time and is being fast tracked by the authorities. She added that the residents have filed a petition with the support of S. R. Sekhar, a member of Bharatiya Janata party, who is also a resident of that locality.
