Rozgar Mela in Coimbatore held at Sri Krishna Institutions; 150+ new recruits receive appointment letters!

158 newly recruited personnel of various Union Government Departments received their letters of appointment in the latest edition of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ of the Union Government, held in Coimbatore at Sri Krishna Institutions on Tuesday.

The Rozgar Mela (Employment Fair) was held at 46 locations across the country simultaneously today, and 51,000+ new recruits received their letters of appointment in total.

Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, L.Murugan took part as the Chief Guest at the Rozgar Mela event in Coimbatore and handed over the appointment letters to the recruits.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the new recruits via live-video streaming and also congratulated them.

S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson, Sri Krishna Institutions, Sumitha Ayodhya, Postmaster General, Western Region, Coimbatore, Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA-Coimbatore South, senior officers of the various Central Government Departments attended the event in Coimbatore.

Sumitha Ayodhya welcomed the new recruits to a lifetime of service to their respective departments, while Vanathi Srinivasan urged the recruits to be close to the public who seek the help of government offices.

“Whenever people walk into government offices and seek your assistance, kindly have the mindset to see them from their perspective, and always feel that you are here to serve them,” Vanathi said.

Minister Murugan congratulated the recruits for stepping into government services at a time when the nation has stepped into ‘Amrit Kaal’.

He highlighted that more than 8 lakh persons have been recruited in to central government services since PM Modi announced the same on August 2022, and in another 2 months, the target set by PM Modi to recruit 10 lakh people into Union Government services will be accomplished.
