Security beefed up in Coimbatore on December 6

Elaborate securities arrangements are being made by the city police to prevent mishaps and ensure peace on the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary, according to release from city police.

The police are on high alert all over Tamil Nadu. Security has been beefed up in the airport, railway station, bus stands, and in public gatherings. Passengers and luggage are being screened at the railway station.

Security has also been stepped up at religious sites including Koniyamman temple, Thandumariyamman temple, and Maruthamalai.
