Shanti Ashram inmates celebrate Christmas

Inmates of Shanti Ashram today celebrated Christmas.

Around 300 children, including 50 HIV affected ones, along with their family members took part in the celebrations that included dance, music, speech performances, followed by cake cutting.

A medical camp was also organised on the occasion, during which 41 teenagers were screened for anemia.

According to Rajshri Panicker of Shanti Ashram, the children were educated on health issues.

Vijay Ragavan of Shanti Ashram said, “The event was a big success and the children enjoyed the celebrations thoroughly,” said Vijay Raghavan of the Ashram.
