Southern Railway holds mid-term pension adalat

About 100 pensioners today attended the mid-term pension adalat organised by the Salem Division of the Southern Railway.

Presided over by Divisional Manager Hari Shankar Verma, the adalat disposed of 51 petitions (in favour of petitioners) out of the 98 it received. A sum of Rs.1,15,44,748 was released in connection with other claims.

Additional Divisional Railway Manager Chandrapal, Divisional Personnel Officer S. Thirumurugan and various other senior officials were present.

The pensioners expressed their satisfaction and happiness over the quick disposal of their representations.
