SriLankan Airlines, which recommenced its operations to Colombo from here some 20 days ago, is recording 70 to 75 per cent capacity of passengers for its four flights a week, a senior official has said.
On an average the Airlines has recorded 70 to 75 per cent passengers and full capacity on Thursdays, particularly going for leisure trip to the Island nation, SriLankan Airlines Area Manager, V Suresh has said.
In an informal chat with presspersons last night on the sidelines of an event to attract tourists to Bellagio Casino Colombo, Suresh said that the Airlines expected full capacity in another two months, as demand was growing, especially from leisure segment, followed by business trips.
Besides, those who wanted to go to Los Angels, also prefer the Airlines, which has connection to Doha from Colombo, he said.
